McCabe Lake
McCabe Lake is a beautiful and pristine lake situated between Highway 101 and Hammonds Plains Road. Spanning 2.5 kilometers and reaching depths of 15 meters, McCabe Lake is one of the largest freshwater, motorized boat friendly lakes in HRM. Perfect for water skiing, pontoon boats, swimming, canoeing and kayaking, McCabe Lake truly has something to offer all residents of Indigo Shores.
The Lake – McCabe Lake is one of Nova Scotia’s most beautiful and pristine motorized boat friendly lakes. Perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing, Indigo Shores will feature community lake access for all residents to enjoy the lake.

Coming Soon – Indigo Shores Park. Anticipated for 2017, the Indigo Shores park will feature boardwalks with access to the lake, canoe launch, and a picnic area. The park will allow all Indigo Shores residents to enjoy McCabe Lake.
Coming Soon – Commercial Plaza. We continue to work with the HRM to develop a commercial plaza on either side of the Margeson Drive interchange. Indigo Shores residents will enjoy the convenience of shops and services only minutes from your home.
